Up Dates and Start of Third Shift.

Sorry about the  long time no update. It wasn't intentional. It has been a very busy time for the family.
Last Thursday I went back to work. Worked Thursday and Friday on first shift then on onto third shift which started Sunday night. The nice thing about this job is that it is a temp to hire and so far really enjoy working there. So Thursday was bittersweet as  that was the scheduled board with the Bishop and the bishopric. the interview  and board did take some time and the group was impressed by my knowledge of church history and testimonial about becoming and being Mormon. But in the end they only had one choice  since I didn't renounce my marriages and relationships with my other two wives and will not go Monogamous with just my fist and legal wife, they stated that they will continue with the excommunication. It's just a matter of them writing  the letter and sending it. I could ask for an appeal and it would move up the ladder, but the point is that my view on Plural marriage is contrary to the doctrine that is taught in the church today. In that I have decided that it would be fruitless and not where God is leading me. I was honest in the board and upfront as I should be.
Friday I got paid for a painting job that I had done a week before so we had money do get things done. One of the first things that we did was get a Sam's club membership and pretty much saved the membership fee in our first shopping trip. With this kind of family we have to buy in bulk,
Sunday we helped out a friend clean out a house that they were renting and  got a refrigerator, Washer, and dryer. the Fringe is up and running , but we haven't got the washer and dryer here yet. so we have two refrigerators and up till now had been doing our wash at coin washes. Sunday was way to busy so actually didn't have time to get together for home church at all. I had to work Sunday night so it was  get some sleep before work.
I enjoy the fact that the Lord continues to bless our house and our lives. sometime being busy is good but the wives will be much relax when the house is back to normal.

September 12th Sabbeth

Well it's the end of a long week.J-Ann is a house keeper in a catholic dorm. I think it's a bit of a chuckle, A Mormon polygamist is working in a catholic organization. We will keep a lid on that lol.  She started her job on Friday.
Ann went to see the Bishop last Tuesday.he asked her about her views on our family and whether or not she was okay with polygamy. She was at first scared at facing him alone but she  did it. I am very proud of her.
Been a busy week with lots of new things going on.
Ann is a bit upset at the future with the discipline board coming up. it should be in a week or two. J-Ann has helped with research of Mormon studies of the early church and it was very interesting what we cam up with with  a lot of info on the churches practice on Polygamy. I have also started to read the Journal of discourse which is in 20 volumes.
My son William has a stomach virus. so the poor guy isn't feeling to well.
Home church today was pretty good. I had a longer sermon about the occult and the bible. I enjoy all kinds of biblical conversation. I don't accept ones word on the subject as I study and pray. even if I don't' have an answer to the original topic. Study is my life and I love  getting to the bottom of the subject.

HOME CHURCH

well today we held out first home church. It was 12:30 to 1 pm. We did the sacrament of unleavened bread and use kosher concord grape wine that is prepared for Jewish holiday stuff to Jewish standards. The blessing of the sacrament was pretty much like you would hear in a LDS church. The songs that we sang were "I am hear to Worship", "I am a child of God", and "Trust and Obey". I  had wrote yesterday a short sermon "Service to the family"

PREPARING FOR THE START OF THE HOME CHURCH

Well, for those who don't already know, Ann and I are facing a disciplinary board after the Latter Day Saints Church discovered our blogs. Someone from our ward cam across and connected who is who and turned it in to the bishop. I found  out about all this on Tuesday and the bishop asked us not to attend church until the board convenes. We don't have a date on that as of yet as the  Bishopric has to be present. The Stake president might even be presiding over it as well. The LDS church  actually catching a practicing polygamist in their midst is, I guess is something of a rare event.
I am not focusing on the future with the LDS church or the upcoming disciplinarian board. I believe my wives were a blessing of god to put them in my life and again I find myself challenged on my convictions. The First was the Passing of my beloved Wendie and what God would want me to learn from that. now this is the second that  is testing my faith in the principle that God gave me in relation.
Of course the Bishop did read me the Official Declaration that President Wilford Wilson wrote in 1890. This was the famous Manifesto that was mad by the church to stop practicing Plural marriages as the US government was preparing to take church property. The United States was limiting the rights of Americans to whom they could marry and defining marriage as one man and one woman.
Now on the political front lines is marriage rights of a different sort.. The  hot debate of the same sex marriage issue. Several states have  already allowed same sex unions.
For well over a hundred years in this country marriage definition have been an issue that been argued and fought over. some have even died over it.
Now back in  my world. I don't have any revelation for the LDS church as a whole., just for myself and that of my family. The board will only do one thing and that will be to excommunicate Ann and I when we refuse to  abandon our two extra wives. We could but I believe my revelation and the living of God's commandments greater then any position or calling in the church of the LDS.
So that leaves with us but one choice. Until God directs us to another church, I will have to exercise the priesthood that I have been granted and lead my family spiritually. That will mean the  set up of a home church to  give the sacrament and to  observe the sabbath. This will be completely new to me as it not just a home evening but actually hold  a service.
We have begun to prepare for  the sabbath by procuring supplies. J-Ann will make unleavened bread and we bought a koshered  concord grape juiced. While the LDS  Uses tap water and regular bread bought in the stores, I  feel lead that preparing for the sacrament is just as important as the blessing and administering it. If we are going to do this we are going to do it on the right foot.
